Whether taking photos of plums and shallots in my garden, of a night scene in Orvieto, fields of wisteria blossoms amidst bumblebees on ancient stone walls, or of reflections in Clear Lake, using camera as paintbrush to capture impressionist images and fields of color moves me.

I like imagining that insects, hummingbirds and we are similarly drawn to exquisite color.
